A Little Bit About Me
Well, where does one start to talk about themselves and not seem too self-conceited? I guess there's no way around it...Im born in Montreal , and moved to Toronto when I was about ten. Currently doing my last year at UofT in Psychology and Politics, and looking to transition into becoming Policy Analysts. I'm also working full-time in Health Management, so thats a start. Islam is definitely a very vibrant part of my life. I may not be super strict, but fundamentals I never really stray from.

I come from a huge family, with people who have huge personalities, so thin skin is something I do not have. lol I like all the basic girl things... like going to the movies, music, karaoke with my girls, "paint night" ( I haven't done that yet..but its on my Basic List list)

An avid swimmer,and equally avid reader. I live right by the water, so going down to the beach for early morning runs, or paddle-boarding is probably the only thing I like about summer. Other than that, during winter and fall is when I'm in my element.

What I Am Looking For
I think I've come to a point in life where I feel like I'm ready to start a new phase in life. I am seriously looking, but not in the sense that I have to get married in the next two months. Let's talk see where things go, not everything works out with someone you may like and thats completely fine. :)
I don't feel like I'm too nit-picky about what exactly I'm looking for, if we can keep a conversation, that's what is important. I am looking for someone who has been either born or brought up in the West. I feel like having a similar mind-set and familiar culture is essential for getting along. In terms of age gap.. early 30's would be a limit? I say that with a question mark , because again I'm not too anal about age gaps, but it should be relatively respectable. Like if you're double my age, then..well I'm sure you're a nice person but not really the flavour of my taste.

Although I don't mind it, having someone from the south Asian descent, either Bengali,Pakistani or Indian , is preferable ; reasons being for my parents. I love them a lot and believe that their comfort lie within the familiarity of culture.
Islam is a large part of my life, and though I'm not extremely strict, I would like someone who is inclined for the faith.I know for a fact that I do want someone who is ambitious and motivated, in whatever field of work they are in. I do look for qualities in a person that I would want in my kids, and part of that having the kind of personality that is active in dunya and as well as deen :)

The Selections on the bottom give only two options..Are you looking for someone with a beard?--> yes or no? thats a bit forceful lol, I don't mind either or, although beards do more good than harm. It's the same with reverts..I'm not at all opposed..but they don't have a middle option. lol
